COMPANY HISTORY

Company History
- S. E. Warner Software was founded in 1985 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. In November of
1988 the company moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where it is currently located. As a company, we are
proud to have served the educational community for the past 18 years and hope to be able to continue
to serve education for many years to come.
Dr. S. ElVon Warner, President
- Dr. Warner received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Brigham
Young University. His doctorate was earned at Arizona State
University.
Dr. Warner is president of S. E. Warner
Software, Inc. He is an author and software developer of
educational computer software packages. Dr. Warner's experience
includes Acting Dean of the School of Business and Department
Head of Information Management at the University of Northern
Iowa (1975-1988). He was a faculty member of the Business
Education Department at Brigham Young University (1961-1975)
and spent four years on overseas assignments: two years in
Saudi Arabia and two years in Ethiopia.
Dr. Warner worked as an auditor for one of the Big Eight CPA firms
and has been a consultant to various businesses. Dr. Warner
has been a member of several professional organizations and
served twice as the president of the Waterloo-Cedar Falls
AMS Chapter.
In addition to developing several educational software
packages for his company, Dr. Warner has also authored
keyboarding/typewriting software for South-Western Publishing
Co. He was also a co-author of College Keyboarding/Typewriting.
Dr. Warner is married; his wife, Carol, is Executive Vice
President of S. E Warner Software. She formerly taught word
processing and typewriting at the University of Northern Iowa.
