    Software For The Keyboarding/Typing Classroom

    [Download Rowe MEC 2002]

    *Use with Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP

This is a self-contained program. It will emulate a simple word processor (it also emulates an
electronic typewriter or an electric typewriter). As students create/edit documents using
MICRO-ErrorChecker, the amount of time taken to create/edit the document is recorded.
When an editing session ends, the application calculates the total words, word per minute rate
and may check the document for both content errors and formatting errors against an error-free
key that the class instructor provides. Documents printed with this software have the errors in
the document highlighted. A built in database records the student's score in a student record.

MEC 2002 is designed with the teacher in mind and removes the student's ability to cheat. It
gives the student and the teacher immediate feedback as to how well the student has done on
      his/her assignment.
